Congratulations to our TCDIP Connect participants!

We are excited to announce the launch of TCDIP Connect! We harnessed the creative ideas generated at a hackathon to launch the pilot phase of our new mentorship program. Earlier this month, teams met each other and learned more about the program during the TCDIP Connect Kick-Off. We welcomed 10 teams with over 85 attorneys and law students. Check out the TCDIP Connect roster!

Using a structured small group model, TCDIP Connect brings together attorneys of varying experience levels, local law students of color, and early career attorneys of color. The first iteration of the program will run through June 2021. Over the course of the next six months, teams will engage in self-driven activities and find ways to connect with each other. TCDIP will provide support, check-ins, and activities.

Be sure to check out the TCDIP Connect Program Guide! The guide includes an overview, the program’s core values, best practices and tips for building strong professional relationships, and tips about handling interpersonal conflict. The guide is meant to be a resource to all TCDIP Members – you might use it to establish your own internal mentoring program or to refresh an existing initiative.

TCIDP Connect was built by the TCDIP community. We would like thank the Mentorship Working Group who devoted their time and ideas to put together the program!

We wish our TCDIP Connect teams the best as they embark on their mentorship journey over the next six months!
