Organizations hire diverse candidates but a persistent issue for legal employers is the retention and advancement of attorneys of color. Retention is challenging under “normal” circumstances and more so in Minnesota as we have faced unique challenges in addressing racial equity issues, social uprisings, and the COVID-19 pandemic.  Using our theme of “Building an Equitable New Normal”, the focus of the program is on how firms and companies can work together to develop a better diversity business strategy  to retain and advance talent. Panelists will share best practices for how they are working with in-house and outside counsel to develop and refine better business strategies to retain attorneys of diverse backgrounds.

Join us on August 11 from 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM for a panel discussion featuring TCDIP leaders. This program is open to attorneys and legal professionals at TCDIP Member Organizations. Register today!

July 21: Webinar with Ritu Bhasin: How to Be Inclusive in the Hybrid Workplace

Join Ritu Bhasin for a free webinar on July 21 at 4:00 PM Eastern Time.

After almost a year and a half of working remotely during the global pandemic, many workplaces are starting to plan to return to some form of in-person working. For most organizations this will likely result in a hybrid work environment where some team members are in the office while others continue to work remotely. Although some of the DEI challenges that were amplified by remote work environments may be addressed by this shift, hybrid working can give rise to a host of new inclusion considerations for leaders and their teams.
