November 30: Litigation Roundtable

Join us on November 30 for our Roundtable focused on Litigation! Leaders in litigation from TCDIP corporate Members will host small group discussions over zoom. Throughout the event guests will rotate through our different “zoom rooms” and will have the opportunity to meet in small groups with all of our panelists. Our panelists are looking forward to answering your nitty-gritty detailed questions! This event is open to attorneys of color with 0-10 years of experience at TCDIP Member Organizations.

Save the date for our General Members Meeting on December 9 from 9:00 – 10:15 AM! Geared towards Member Representatives, this meeting will include information about TCDIP’s ongoing programming, demographics data collection, and other metrics gathered from our surveys.

Get Involved in our Mentorship Program, TCDIP Connect! Application Deadline Extended!

We are excited to launch the pilot phase of TCDIP Connect after a year of design thinking and development. You can learn more about TCDIP Connect’s core values, structure and timeline by downloading our flyer and visiting our website.

TCDIP Connect is intended for three groups of attorneys:

  • Early career attorneys of color (0-8 years of experience)
  • Mid-career attorneys of all background (8-15 years of experience). The ideal candidates for this role are actively involved in diversity and inclusion efforts or have experience understanding what it means to work as an attorney of color in the Twin Cities.
  • Senior level attorneys (15+ years of experience) of all backgrounds.

Ready to join? Anyone who is interested is asked to completed a short application survey by Tuesday, December 1. Teams will be announced in December and the program will launch in mid-January.

Our TCDIP 1L Clerkship Program is now open for students to apply! For over a decade, the TCDIP 1L Clerkship has helped launch the careers of law students of color in the Twin Cities. We strengthen the legal talent pipeline with strategic partnerships between TCDIP Members from law firms and corporate legal departments. Share our website with 1L students of color interested in applying! Students can also check out our information session with 1L Clerkship Alumni on our YouTube Channel!
